Both boasting incredible & potent antioxidant-rich blends of skin loving ingredients, the Vitamin C Serum and Resveratrol Peptide Complex Serum have a lot in common. Full of antioxidants? Check.Amazing for pro-aging skincare (at any age!)? Check. So, what’s the difference between these two amazing antioxidant serums– and how do you know which one is right for you?
Can't Go Wrong
First off, it’s hard to go wrong with either the Vitamin C Serum or the Resveratrol Peptide Complex Serum. They each have so many skin benefits and either one will work well for many similar skincare concerns such as hyperpigmentation, oxidative stress, and an overall skin brightening effect.(Although like we talk about in last week’s post– to truly reap the full benefits of these products you *have to* make sure you are also getting adequate daily sun protection/sunscreen!)
Specialties - The Contrast
Vitamin C Serum
But, each one has its own “specialty”, too, if you will.Vitamin C Serum works a special kind of “magic” on helping to heal sun-damaged, stress-damaged, and weather-damaged skin. It will brighten up your overall complexion while helping to even it out as well, and provide your skin with essential hydration all the while protecting it from environmental factors, too! This is a wonderful treatment for dehydrated skin to be worn under your moisturizer– or even as a stand-alone moisturizer for oily, blemish-prone skin. The strong antioxidant action of the highly stable (not synthetic) form of Vitamin C used in our formula penetrates deep into the layers of the skin, allowing the active ingredients to reach beyond the surface and provide you with a powerful, meaningful antioxidant boost that can truly treat the needs of your skin.
Resveratrol Peptide Complex Serum
Resveratrol Peptide Complex Serum is especially amazing for improving the skin’s firmness and density by activating cell renewal and turnover, while also working to brighten the complexion and protect you from environmental stressors and supporting your skin’s natural antioxidant defenses. The key ingredient in this serum, Resveratrol, is hands down one of the most powerful antioxidants around. It is high in Proanthocyanidins, a group of bioflavonoids superior to most because they are water soluble which makes them more easily assimilated by the body (score!).Moreover, Resveratrol is a super hard-working free radical scavenger that will actively prevent skin cell damage from sun exposure and pollution in real time.Along with the many other soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredients in this formulation, this serum is a wonderful choice for just about every everyone as it is suitable for all skin types and boasts so many incredible antioxidant properties to boot!
Both of these serums are best used after cleansing, exfoliating, and toning– and before applying moisturizers and sunscreens. No matter which you pick, each one will provide your skin with amazing antioxidant benefits both night and day! Plus, if you really can’t decide… you could always just get both;)!
