Your confidence level ramps up.
Your power walk kicks in.
Your Wonder Woman pose asserts itself.
Yet, I for one don't have time nor the inclination to get an in-salon weekly mani, (though my monthly pedi is a standing event, so don't even think about taking that away from me) so I keep a collection of polishes and do my own mani's at home.
Even so, there are weeks that go by with out me taking the time to paint my nails.
Usually because I can't seem to fit in the drying time.
And my hubby very much dislikes the fumes, so I try to coordinate my polish time when he isn't around.
And though I'm happy with the many pretty solid colors I own, it would certainly be fun to have one of those spunky nail designs on occasion.
And gel nails?
Well, I adore the look of them, and the lasting power - but I very strongly dislike what they do to your nails.
Now you can have whatever style, design and color of nails you want!
1. Clean your nails with prep pad contained in set
2. Open package
3. Use immediately after opening
4. Follow video above
5. Ask me for help ;-)
Use a larger strip for each nail so there is a bit of overlap and 'trim' with orange wood stick. The goal is not to have gaps on the sides of nail beds.
For example, I don't use the smallest 'pinkie' strip - I start with the next one up.
Don't overthink it. Just experiment and play - you will find that it is so easy.
Each set comes with 16 nail polish strips. Room for mistakes, of course, but you will have leftovers.
Don't toss them!
Save those extras for bling nails.
Yes, the directions do say, 'one time use' but between you and me, here is the tool that will help you stretch your manicure dollars (and creative fun!).
Put them back into the plastic wrap they came in, and seal it up so they stay fresh for future use. You will need to seal it air-tight, so this little gadget will be part of your nail tool kit.
Your manicure can last up to 10 days (they can last even longer, really. If you can refrain from opening a new set to play with!)
You remove them with polish remover.
