If you have not used retinoids before, start with every other, or other third day usage. After the first week, ramp up to every other or every day usage.

If you experience irritation, slow down usage. That said, don't stop all together. Push through it. It's all part of the process. After 2 or 3 weeks your skin will adapt, adjust and learn to behave better. Once your skin adjusts, ramp up your usage again.

However - We're talking about reasonably flushed, drier-than-usual, lightly peeling skin. If the discomfort is truly bad, switch to a lighter form of retinol such as that contained in our Vitamin C Serum.

Best applied at night.

Apply to clean skin (after cleansing, toning, exfoliating and applying your antioxidant and brightening serums).

Apply in a light circular motion to freshly cleansed, toned,  exfoliated and serumed face, neck and décolleté areas (avoid direct contact with eyes, but do apply on orbital bone). Don't forget your hands.

This is a lightweight creme which just may be enough moisture for you.

Alternatively, you may want to add a rich nourishing creme on top if your skin leans towards dryness, such as the Whipped Olive Oil Creme. 

PM - Follow with eye and lip treatment.

AM - Follow with the appropriate amount of sunscreen. (A nickel size dollop for your face).

It can take up to 12 weeks of consistent use to truly see results.
