Natural Terracotta Fall Makeup Look

natural terracotta fall makeup look.

Terracotta, In-Trend, Natural Makeup Look.

Terracotta never goes out of style... And this season, it’s taking center stage once again. A timeless fall favorite, terracotta shades add warmth, depth, and a natural yet elevated vibe to your everyday look.

For today’s routine, I started with foundational essentials: foundation, concealer, mascara, and brows. From there, I built a soft terracotta-inspired look using lips, cheeks, and eyes that complement each other beautifully.

I began with foundational products only: foundation, concealer, mascara and brows.

Lips

I then began with my lips outlined and filled in with Adore Mineral Lip Liner and topped with Two In One Creme Crayon in Glazed Caramel. Our Crayons offer very little to no transference to inside of masks, giving you stay put color for lips and cheeks.

Cheeks

For cheeks, using the Perfect Blush Brush, I went with Sunset Cheek Color layered on top of Glazed Caramel for more adherence. And more spunk.

Add a dab of Sunset Mineral Cheek Color on your lips too!

The Eyes

Choose a light color for highlight shade and possibly your lid color, and a coordinating dark color for crease, contour and emphasis detail.

Next, choose a mid-tone shade in between the light and dark - to be used as transition or crease shade.

Today, we went with Almond Mineral Eyeshadow as our mid-tone transition shade. And Velvet as our dark contour, crease shade.

Application For Eyes

Pashmina is placed under the brow and inner tear duct area using the Eye Shading Brush.

Almond, as our midtone transition color is then window-wipered into our larger crease area (no need to be precise here) using the Fluffy Eye Shading Brush.
Let's go with Charmer on the lid for a pop of color. It's still light and bright in color, yet a gives a sumptuous burst of marigold to blend with terracotta look.

Velvet is our dark contour color and using the Crease Brush, apply it to your outer triangle corner, and in your crease.

Also smudge Velvet underneath your lower lashes using the Crease Brush again.

Blend it all out with the Fluffy Eye Shading Brush.

Black Coffee Mineral Pencil Liner gives you the final touch, under your lower lash line and of course, smudged. Use your Crease Brush again to smudge it out.

Finish the look off with a warm radiant wash of Pixie Dust Radiance Powder for an all over youthful glow of ahhhh.

FAQ

Q: Can I wear terracotta shades year-round?
A: Yes. While terracotta is especially popular in fall, its warm, earthy tones complement a variety of skin tones and can be worn anytime of year.

Q: Do I need all the exact products mentioned?
A: Not necessarily. Focus on choosing shades in the same family (warm nudes, earthy oranges, and soft browns) to recreate the look with products you already own.

Q: How do I keep blush from fading during the day?
A: Layering a powder blush over a cream base (like the Two In One Creme Crayon) helps the color adhere better and last longer.

Q: I’m new to eyeshadow blending. Any tips?
A: Use a fluffy blending brush for midtones and take your time with soft, windshield-wiper motions. Always blend the edges so there are no harsh lines.

Q: Is terracotta makeup suitable for all skin tones?
A: Absolutely. Terracotta is versatile. Lighter shades flatter fair skin tones, while deeper, richer variations enhance medium to deep complexions.
