Question 1: What are your skin goals?
Let's begin with habits
All successes come from being consistent with what will move you towards your goal. This means creating habits! So how do you start a habit?
1. Do something every day for better skin - commit to consistency
You CAN teach your skin cells to make better skin cells. Your skin WANTS to be healthy. Take one or two goals at a time and break them down into daily steps.
Examples:
- Cleanse your skin twice a day.
- Exfoliate on a regular basis to get a better glow.
- Drink more water.
- Get a silk pillowcase to help prevent premature wrinkles.
Question 2: What do you think you can do daily towards your goal of better skin?
2. Make small adjustments
Add one thing and stick with it until it's a habit and you don’t have to think about it. Make it small and doable.
Examples:
- You could commit to removing your eye makeup every single night.
- You could wash your face right after dinner before you get too tired and fall into bed.
- You could begin researching silk pillow brands.
3. Identify your triggers and obstacles. What’s holding you back?
This is important. It is hard to create (or break!) a habit if you don't know what's holding you back. If you can't reach your goals, step back from it and figure out why it's not happening.
Examples:
- Are you too tired at night?
- Are you waffling back and forth with different products/brands?
- Do you have shiny new objects symdrome?
Question 3: So, what holds you back?
4. Create A Skin Care Plan
Write it down on a sticky note, in your notes app on your phone, or put it on your mirror in the bathroom next to your skincare products.
Examples:
- I’m going to wash my face at the same time as brushing my teeth, right after dinner, before I get too tired.
- I’m going to work into applying my serum every morning, by setting it right next to my cleanser and toner.
- I’m going to wear sunscreen more diligently, by keeping one by the sink for my hands after washing, and one next to my daytime moisturizer and/or serum.
Come up with a plan. If you need help, reach out to me and I will help you create a skincare plan and work out your success habits.
5. Celebrate Small Wins
This is fun!
Did you wash your face before going to bed two days in a row? Pat yourself on the back! Did you apply your serum daily for a full week? Buy yourself a new eyeshadow!
Come up with something to reward yourself!

Top Product Recommendations for Your Skin Concerns
The recent poll told me that your top concerns are: fine lines and wrinkles, dullness and dark spots. Here are some of my top product recommendations for these issues:
Dullness - Lack of radiance, glow, texture
Targeted actives and gentle exfoliant:
Radiance Reveal Exfoliant is a leave-on exfoliant made mainly of fruit acids. This can help really bring the glow back. While I often say you need to use products for 6-12 weeks to see results, this is one exception! I see results overnight... and it only gets better over time!
Clear Skin Serum is also a leave-on exfoliant. It is great for clogged pores such as blackheads and whiteheads. It has beta-hydroxy acids (also known as salicylic acid) which really goes deep into the pores to help clear up congestion.
Vitamin C Serum is an excellent skin brightener. Good for so many things, including building collagen, and supporting your sunscreen during the day.
Resveratrol Peptide Complex Serum. I usually use this on top of Vitamin C Serum, but you can also alternate it with your Vitamin C Serum.
Behave 1% Retinol Moisture Creme is very gentle retinol and offers clean ingredients plus a lovely moisturizer. Best to use it at night.
Embellish Pro-Aging Treatment Powder is a powder with kojic acid as one of its key ingredients, which helps with brightening. Use as a nighttime treatment powder or a daytime primer or finish powder.
And of course, sunscreen for prevention! All. Year. Long.

Fine Lines and Wrinkles
We all have them, and we can’t get rid of them completely, and skincare can only do so much, BUT it can help!
I recommend these products to help prevent premature fine lines and wrinkles:
Radiance Reveal Exfoliant, Clear Skin Serum, Vitamin C Serum, Resveratrol Peptide Complex Serum, Behave 1% Retinol, and Sunscreen. See above for details.
Pure Bliss Eye Creme is a very lightweight cream that is powerful. It helps with dark circles too.

Dark spots
We all have these too! They are sun-related and come with age. Here are some products that can help:
Sunscreen | Bright On - Brightening Facial Serum | Radiance Reveal Exfoliant | Vitamin C Serum | Resveratrol Peptide Complex Serum | Embellish Pro-Aging Treatment Powder |
Sunscreen may not make the ones you have go away, but it will help prevent future spots if you're diligent and consistent with your sunscreen.
Bright On Brightening Serum is very helpful in maintaining and helping to soften dark spots over time. I use this every evening.
