Meet Me At Sunset Tutorial (With Video)
Ooohhh…How Pretty! A Sunset Eye Palette.
We are so excited to introduce you to the newest addition to our mineral pigment palette collection,
This dreamy all-matte eyeshadow (and cheek color!) palette features three soft, easy to wear, gorgeous shades of mineral eyeshadow that pair beautifully together as well as totally hold their own when used alone for a more minimalistic look!
Soft and Romantic
These three soft, romantic shades can be used to create a barely-there “no makeup” makeup look for a natural effect, or be built up to a slightly bolder finish for an elegant, sunset-inspired eye that really highlights these three beautiful colors!
Multi-Tasking, Of Course
You can also absolutely use them as your blush or bronzer shades– Sepia makes for a beautiful blush or bronzer, and Dusty is such a pretty light pink cheek color as well!
This palette is perfect for everyday wear with its matte eyeshadows and soft, neutral leaning colors.
They all blend out beautifully when you want just a whisper of color, as well as boast a beautifully even buildability for times when you desire a more intense wash of color in your look.
And of course, not only do they all pair well together, but they are easily pairable with a whole host of other neutrals (and colorful shadows too!).
The Look
For this look, I wanted to keep things simple and really highlight the colors in the Meet Me at Sunset Collection and capture them on my camera so I chose to go with a more intense build up of color, however you could recreate this look with a more natural finish simply by applying less eyeshadow and blending it out more.
I used the Meet Me at Sunset Collection as well as a touch of Pink Sorbet Mineral Rich Lipstick and my Double Sided Angled Eye Shadow Brush, Mini Fluff Brush and Perfect Blush Brush to create this quick and simple look.
Keep It Simple
(One of the best things about palettes like Meet Me at Sunset is the ability they give you to seriously multi-task and simplify your makeup routine when you are in a rush, traveling with minimal makeup space, or just want to keep things simple!)
To begin, I applied Twilight all over my lids with the bigger side of my Double Sided Angled Eye Shadow Brush and blended it up and out.
Then I went in with my Mini Fluff Brush and added a touch of Dusty to my brow bone, making sure to really blend it out as well as into the transition between both colors for a smooth overall look.
For a simple look, you can leave it at that, apply some mascara, or choose to apply Pencil or Powder Liner to your upper lash line as well (Ebony Black Mineral Eye Liner Pencil and Soft Black Mineral Liner are both wonderful choices!).
Next I went in with a touch of Sepia on my Perfect Blush Brush and applied this to my cheeks.
This goes so beautifully with the overall look, and it is so nice to have all the colors included together in one stacker– it really does make everything that much easier when all the colors you are using are in one place.

The Finishing Touch
As a finishing touch, I added a little dab of Pink Sorbet Mineral Rich Lipstick to the center of my lips and then blended it out with my fingertips for a very soft and diffused wash of color.
I didn’t want to overpower the color of the eyeshadows, so I kept it super soft and natural with my lips– but you can add more or less color depending on the look you are going for, of course!
