My Updated Beauty Device Routine | Over 50

at home beauty device routine

It's time to share my updated at-home beauty device routine with you.

If you're like me and you're always on the lookout for science-backed and non-invasive ways to keep your skin looking its best for as long as possible, you're in the right place!

skincare bottles and devices on bath towel

I've discovered some fantastic at-home beauty devices that have become staples in my daily and weekly routine, and I can't wait to tell you all about them. (In fact, I've been so impressed with the results that I'm seriously considering ditching my Botox routine altogether...well maybe!)

So grab a cup of tea, sit back, and let's dive into the world of at-home skincare devices together.

HIME SAMA LED Face Mask

This is an LED red light therapy face mask that originally, I was using twice weekly. That is until I found the handheld LightStim device (see below) which works much better for my routine.

Now, I use this mask, which I affectionately call my "iron man" mask, when I want to relax, meditate and do nothing. It usually leads to a nap ;-).

Key benefits: Red light therapy, when used as instructed, has shown to stimulate collagen production, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, increase blood flow and improve circulation, cellular function, and ATP energy production. It supports reduced inflammation. It can improve skin texture and tone, and provide a plump, more youthful appearance. This mask also contains a micro current option. Full face and neck treatment all at once. See study referenced below.

LightStim Handheld

LightStim is a handheld device that also uses LED red light therapy, only in a hand held option for spot treatment.

Key benefits: Same as above. Spot treatment wherever you want to treat on your face and body. FDA cleared.

Nira Precision Laser

Nira is a non-ablative, non-fractional precision laser that uses near-infrared light to reduce fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, rebuild elasticity, tighten the skin, even skin tone, lift hooded eyes, brighten dark spots, and improve acne scarring.

Key benefits: Similar to LED Red Light Therapy, The near-infrared light reduces fine lines and wrinkles, rebuilds elasticity, tightens the skin, evens skin tone, lifts hooded eyes, brightens dark spots, and improves acne scarring. Precision spot treatment. FDA cleared for your eye area.

FaceBlaster

The FaceBlaster is a handheld low-tech tool designed for facial massage and tissue manipulation. It's made of hard, durable plastic and features several small, claw-like attachments that can be used to apply pressure to the skin.

Key benefits: The FaceBlaster helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, by smoothing fascia, increasing blood flow & circulation, and it may help to promote the formation of new collagen and elastin.

To summarize, here's a breakdown of the devices and their key benefits:

By incorporating them into your skincare routine, you can see long-term results, at home. Just remember, this is a long-game. You will see results, if you're consistent and patient.
