“In The Buff” Mineral Eye Shadow Stacker | Simple Beauty Minerals

Ahh, the many reasons why I love the In The Buff” Mineral Eye Shadow Stacker – and why I know you’ll love it too (if you haven’t already fallen head over heels that is!), plus I thought I’d share an eye makeup tutorial featuring this little beauty powerhouse and a nude eyeshadow look.

Below is a list of multiple uses for this one stacker. This beauty is such a versatile and universal product - you can’t go wrong with adding this to your beauty routine/beauty stash! ;)

Let Me Count The Ways

  • Use either of the lighter shades (Whisper and Optimist)  as a highlight by dabbing a tiny bit on your cupid’s bow
  • Use Soft Touch or Life of the Party as your crease color for a naturally pretty lid contour
  • Or, use Soft Touch, Life of the Party, Optimist, or Golden Glam as your all-over lid color
  • Highlight your inner corners and brow bone with Whisper
  • Or, highlight all over with Optimist (I absolutely love using this as a highlight on my cheekbones)
  • Swipe Golden Glam across your cheekbones for a totally glamorous highlight!
  • Contour your cheekbones, nose, and chin with Soft Touch or Life of the Party, and then highlight with Whisper to really accentuate and sharpen focus on your favorite features
  • Throw it in your travel bag! I love using the “In the Buff” Stacker as my travel eyeshadow “palette” because it has such a great mix of neutral shades in both shimmer and matte so I know I can create a bunch of different looks with it and I don’t have to worry about forgetting any eyeshadows I might need– plus, I save a ton of space in my makeup bag! ;)
  • Use Optimist or Golden Glam for a shimmer-tastic holiday lip– just apply them to your lips with a lip brush for extra precision, and then add some clear gloss on top!
  • Or, mix Optimist or Golden Glam with a red, pink, or peach colored mineral blush or eyeshadow for some extra sparkle, and apply the mix to your lips for another festive lip combo!
  • Last but not least, you can mix all of the shadows in the “In the Buff” Stacker together to create different shimmery combos, as well! My favorite combos so far are Optimist + Life of the Party, and Soft Touch + Golden Glam. I love using these combos as my all-over lid color, but be creative and use them for whatever you dream up or your heart so desires!

Nude Eye Look Tutorial

You’ll need:

    Total Life Hack

First things first, I like to tap some of the eyeshadow onto the inside lid of whichever color I’m working with before I get it onto my brush so that I can make sure I have an even distribution of product, and also get exactly as much as I want on my brush each time! Picking up your product from the lid is a total life-hack when it comes to applying mineral makeup! Here, I’m prepping my brush with Golden Glam.

    Lid Color

Now, I’m going to take the Golden Glam and apply it all over my lid. This will be the all-over lid color for the look! Don’t worry about the shadow getting on your lashes– no need to be super careful because we’ll just be covering it up with mascara in a minute ;)

    Crease Color

I chose Soft Touch for this look because I like pairing it with Golden Glam the best. They are the perfect match! I just worked this into my crease with a fluffy blending brush, and made sure there weren’t any harsh lines!

    Highlight

Then, I’m going in with Whisper as my highlight color, and working it into my brow bone as well as a little bit in the inner corner of my eye. It’s tough to see on camera, but it really opens up your eye area to have a highlight– and once you’ve blended whisper out, it works as a perfect soft/pretty highlight that is just subtle enough, but really opens up and brightens your eyes!

    The Final Touch

For the final touch I’m lining my water line and my upper lash line with the Ebony Black Mineral Eyeliner, and adding some drama to my lashes with the Black Magic Healthy Mineral Mascara– and, BAM! There you have it!

    Golden Goddess

I like to think of this as my “Golden Goddess” look, because it is so radiant and glowy, and, well, golden! I can’t wait to see how this post inspires you to use yourIn the Buff” Stacker! If you don’t have one already, I recommend hopping on over here and ordering one ASAP since it’s part of our special Holiday line!
